We are the sister nonprofit to Pickathon, the 27-year-old music festival. Founded in 2024, Creative Neighborhoods harnesses the power of each neighborhood to ensure that the materials used to build the four day city that is Pickathon are given a second life after the festival. This second life fuels our partner nonprofits' building projects and provides hands-on training programs that are unique to how Pickathon is designed and built each year.

Each year we matchmake designers, architects and builders with other organizations that are in need. These designers first create an experience at the music festival with the second life of the design/build always in the back of their mind. When the festival ends, these festival stages and installations move to their permanent homes. The neighborhood stories speak for themselves about the community impact of Creative Neighborhoods.
